fabricUtils is a collection of tools for inputting, transforming, and outputting, kinematic data inside Fabric Engine. My main goal in building this tool is sharing components of my motion capture data processing workflow.

Most notable components include:

  • A BVH reader;
  • A character retargeting system
  • A set of tools for calculating the implicit dynamics of kinematic components
  • A set of tools to expor data in CSV and JSON formats

In the following videos series I go over fabricUtils in the context of processing MoCap data for Machine Learning applications.
